SWAM CERTIFIED

 

Fire Rescue and Tactical, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received SWaM Certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business (SWaM) certification program is a state program of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The purpose is to enhance procurement opportunities for SWaM businesses participating in state-funded projects.  In 2006, Governor Tim Kaine set a 40% goal of purchases from SWaMs for the Commonwealth.

 

We have been further certified as a "micro-business" by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (VSBSD).

 

Fire Rescue and Tactical, Inc. was founded in the New River Valley Virginia area in 2014. Most of our clients are small and medium sized entities and we support local economic growth and diversity in business, especially within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
